Broadcasting Decisions:

2005-1 VDN Cable Inc., on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated, Toronto, Ontario. APPROVED - New Class 1 cable broadcasting distribution undertaking to serve the municipality of Metropolitan Toronto, Ontario. The licence will expire on 31 August 2011.

2005-2 TELUS Communications Inc., Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Penticton, Prince George, Terrace, Vancouver (including Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley), Vernon and Victoria, British Columbia. APPROVED - Insertion of promotional material in the local availabilities of U.S. satellite services, distribution of additional signals and reception of a U.S. signal from an unlicensed Canadian source.

2005-3 TELUS Communications Inc., Calgary, Edmonton (including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain), Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Red Deer, Alberta. APPROVED - Insertion of promotional material in the local availabilities of U.S. satellite services and request to distribute CKEM-TV Edmonton and CICT-TV Calgary in Medicine Hat.

2005-4 Global Television Network Inc. and Fox Sports World Canada Holdco Inc., partners in a general partnership carrying on business as Fox Sports World Canada Partnership, across Canada. APPROVED – Amendment of the broadcasting licence for the Category 2 specialty programming undertaking Fox Sports World Canada, by replacing the licensee’s condition of licence defining its nature of service, as noted in the decision. 2005-5 Craig Media Inc., across Canada. APPROVED - Extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the Category 2 specialty television service, until 16 November 2005.

2005-6 Rawlco (Edmonton) Ltd., Edmonton, Alberta. APPROVED - Extension of the time limit to submit an application predicated on the use of a frequency other than 89.3 MHz for the operation of its new radio programming undertaking, until 6 June 2005.

2005-7 Rogers Cable Communications Inc., St. Thomas and Strathroy, Ontario. APPROVED – Inclusion of Strathroy, Ontario, for the cable broadcasting distribution undertaking serving St. Thomas.

2005-8 Rogers Cable Communications Inc., Owen Sound and Midland, Ontario. APPROVED – Inclusion of Midland, Ontario, for the cable broadcasting distribution undertaking (BDU) serving Owen Sound.

2005-9 Crossroads Television System, Ottawa, Ontario. APPROVED – Technical change for CITS-TV Hamilton and its transmitter CITS-TV-1 Ottawa, as noted in the Decision.

2005-10 World Television Network/Le Réseau Télémonde inc. (WTM), across Canada. APPROVED - extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the Category 2 specialty programming undertaking, until 14 June 2006.

2004-49-2 Amendment to the call for applications for a broadcasting licence to carry on a French-language radio programming undertaking to serve Québec, Quebec. Deadline: 28 February 2005.

2005-4 The Commission has received applications by Native Communication Inc. and O.K. Radio Group Ltd. Deadline for submission of interventions/comments: 16 February 2005.

Telecom Orders:

2005-17 The Commission approves an application by Bell Canada, dated 3 December 2004, to extend the Hybrid packet network service tariff for three years at existing terms and rates. Reference: TN 6845. Eff. date = 12.01.05.

2005-18 The Commission approves the Basic Listing Interchange File Agreement filed by 2034156 Ontario Inc. on 7 December 2004. Reference: 8340-O34-200414798.

2005-19 The Commission approves on a final basis an application by Ontera, dated 7 December 2004, to introduce General Tariff item 3320, Inter-exchange Optical Fibre service. Reference: TN 111.

2005-20 The Commission approves on an interim basis an application by Shaw Telecom Inc., dated 17 December 2004, to revise General Tariff item 302.4, Primary InterExchange Carrier (PIC) Processing, in order to reflect the rates approved for the incumbent local exchange carriers in Telecom Decision CRTC 2004-72.
