Telecom Public Notice:
2005-7 The Commission initiates a proceeding and invites comments on the appropriateness of permitting the use of information contained in the incumbent local exchange carriers' Emergency 9-1-1 databases for the purpose of providing a Community Notification Service, and if so, under what circumstances and with what safeguards. Telecom Orders:
2005-241 The Commission denies Call-Net Communications Inc.'s proposal to introduce Diagnostic Maintenance Charge, applicable when the company performs a diagnostic test on an unbundled local loop, that tests as non-functional, following a completion notice by the incumbent local exchange carrier. 2005-242 The Commission ratifies, pursuant to subsection 25(4) of the Telecommunications Act, the charging of the rate for the optical fibre service to LondonConnect. Reference: 8340-T69-200402925.
