Winnipeg, Manitoba. APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets of CHNU-TV, which serves
the Fraser Valley area of British Columbia. APPROVED – New transmitter of CHNU-TV
in Victoria, and for licences to operate CHNU-TV and CIIT-TV Winnipeg, Manitoba.
2005-208
3937844 Canada Inc., Whitecourt and Edson, Alberta. APPROVED – New
English-language FM radio programming undertaking in Whitecourt. The licence will
expire 31 August 2011. APPROVED – Deletion of the transmitter CFYR-FM Whitecourt
for the radio programming undertaking CJYR Edson.
2005-209 The
Bay St. George South Area Development Association, McKay’s, Newfoundland and
Labrador. APPROVED – Extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the
FM radio programming undertaking in McKay’s, until 31 March 2006.

Commission approves on an interim basis the following tariff applications: TELUS

4229, 4230 and 4233. Eff. Date = 01.06.05.
2005-194 The
Commission approves on an interim basis an application by TELUS Communications
Inc. (TCI) dated 31 March 2005, proposing revisions to its General Tariff
Item 495 Integrated Services Digital Network – Primary Rate Interface (ISDN-PRI)
Service in Alberta, subject to the following amendments: TCI's proposals to
simplify the rate structure for Retain DN at a rate of $2.45 per DN and to
introduce a maximum service period in conjunction with the non-contracted option
for ISDN-PRI Service in Alberta are denied. Reference: TN 548. Eff. Date =
01.06.05.
2005-195 The
Commission approves on an interim basis an application by TELUS Communications
Inc. (TCI) dated 31 March 2005, proposing revisions to the former TELUS
Communications (B.C.) Inc.'s General Tariff Item 470, Integrated Services Digital
Network - Primary Rate Interface (ISDN-PRI) Service in British Columbia, with the
following amendment: TCI is to eliminate the maximum service period for the
non-contracted option for ISDN-PRI Service in British Columbia. Reference:
TN 4232. Eff. Date = 01.06.05.
2005-196 The
Commission approves on a final basis, with an amendment, an application by Bell
Canada, dated 7 October 2004, concerning National Services Tariff item 720.78
relating to services provided under customer specific arrangement contract number
P3-58. Reference: TN 828 (NST).

Commission approves with changes MTS Allstream Inc.'s proposal to introduce
Customer Specific Arrangements. Reference: TNs 543 and 543A. Eff. Date =
