Inc., partners in a general partnership, Across Canada. APPROVED –
Acquisition of the assets of the specialty programming undertakings Séries+
(formerly Canal Fiction) and Historia (formerly Canal Histoire).
2000-95
Regional Cable TV (Western) Inc., Pine Falls, Powerview
and St. Georges, Manitoba. APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets of the
cable distribution undertaking serving these communities from Winnipeg
River CATV Ltd. The licence will expire 31 August 2001.
2000-96
Carmacks Family Entertainment Society, Carmacks, Yukon
Territory. APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets of the radiocommunication
distribution undertaking CFYC-TV Carmacks from Carmacks Community Club. The
licence will expire 31 August 2006.

Native Communication Inc., Thompson and Hollow Water
Indian Reserve, Manitoba. APPROVED – Addition of a transmitter at Hollow
Water Indian Reserve.
2000-98
CKDU-FM Society, Halifax, Nova Scotia. APPROVED – Change
of frequency for CKDU-FM Halifax from 97.5 MHz (channel 248LP) to 88.1 MHz
(channel 201A) and increase of its effective radiated power from 33 watts
to 520 watts.

The Thompson Valley Television Society, Clearwater; and
Vavenby, British Columbia. APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets of the
radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving Clearwater from the
Clearwater and District Chamber of Commerce, as well as the assets of the
radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving Vavenby from the
Vavenby Community Club and Recreation Commission. The licences will expire
31 August 2006.

Meadows Development inc. Touch Canada Broadcasting Ltd. and C.R.A.
Investements Ltd., Edmonton, Alberta. APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets
of CJCA Edmonton from the current partners of the CJCA Limited Partnership
(Touch Canada Broadcasting Ltd. and Rosedale Meadows Development Inc.). The
licence will expire 31 August 2003.
