service which are configured to utilize the new DS-0 connectivity feature.

The Commission approves Québec-Téléphone's request to
introduce the Sale of directory files service to Section 1.05 of its
General Tariff. This service provides a machine-readable file containing
non-confidential information taken from Québec-Téléphone listings for
subscribers who are listed, or who will be listed, in its directories. The
Commission also approves the license agreement, wherein the terms for

The Commission approves Télébec's request to offer these
promotions: 1) residential and business individual-line service customers
in four exchanges of the Îles-de-la-Madeleine who subscribe to Call answer
from 21 August to 30 September 2000, will receive a one-month free service;
and 2) residential and business individual-line service customers in all
exchanges where Call answer is available, from 18 September to 18 November

The Commission approves the introduction of a new area code in the southern
Ontario region currently served by area code 905. The new area code will be
implemented in a "distributed overlay" over the exchanges that comprise the
current 905 area code. All existing customers in the 905 area code will
retain their current telephone number. Once implemented in June 2001, new
