Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC
2000-5 dated
26 May 2000 relating to its Public Hearing (14 August 2000) which is being
held at the Conference Centre, Phase IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Hull,
Quebec, the Commission announces that at the request of the applicant, Item
53, Home Interactive Television, Brampton, Ontario is withdrawn from the
public hearing.

The Commission approves MTS’s request for a promotion which waives the
service charge for new Microlink Measured Service customers who take the
service for at least three months. The promotion runs from 5 September to
