What's New - February 4, 2000

The CRTC has implemented a one-numbering system for its broadcasting and telecommunications decisions and notices. All CRTC decisions and notices will now be numbered in sequence. We hope that this will make it easier for you to access our documents.

The CRTC issues a call for applications to operate new digital pay and specialty TV services

NOTICES:

2000-20 Bell - Proposed changes to local channel services and rates. TCI - Proposed changes to local channel rates. File Nos.: Bell TN 6415 and TCI TN 181.

2000-21 CKDU-FM Society, Halifax, Nova Scotia. To amend the licence of the campus community radio CKDU-FM Halifax, by changing the frequency from 97.5 MHz (channel 248LP) to 88.1 MHz (channel 201A) and by increasing the effective radiated power from 33 to 520 watts. Deadline for intervention: 10 March 2000.

2000-22 Call for Applications for Licences for New Digital Pay and Specialty Television Programming Undertakings

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:

1999-12-2 Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 1999-12 dated 26 November 1999 relating to its public hearing commencing on 31 January 2000, at the Triumph Howard Johnson Plaza-Hotel, 2737 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario, the Commission announces that Issue No. 1, Item 15 - Erin McNulty, Toronto, Ontario is withdrawn from the public hearing.

ORDERS:

2000-89 CAPTS (on behalf of Bruce, Dryden, Keewatin, Kenora and Thunder Bay Telephone). File Nos.: 8340-B2-0001/03; 8340-B2-0023/03; 8340-B2-0078/04; 8340-B2-0090/03; and 8340-B2-0383/02. APPROVAL of their individual Amending Agreement for Appendix 7 and Appendix 7A, Intercept Services, of their Interconnection Agreement with Bell Canada.
