Broadcasting Public Notice:

2004-86-1 Call for comments on changes to the winback rules regarding their application to both customers and subscribers. Extension of deadline for submission of comments, to 13 January 2005.

Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:

2004-10-3 Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2004 10, 2004-10-1 and 2004-10-2 dated 3, 9 and 25 November 2004 relating to a Public Hearing which will be held on 10 January 2005 at 9:00 a.m., at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, the Commission announces that item 24 (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)) is amended.

Telecom Orders:

2004-407 The Commission approves an application by Bell Canada, on behalf of itself, Aliant Telecom Inc. and MTS Allstream Inc., dated 2 November 2004, to revise National Services Tariff item 382, Digital Private Line Large Business Service, in order to withdraw the service as the existing customer no longer requires the service offering. Reference: TN 847 (National Services Tariff). Eff. date = 08.12.04.

2004-408 The Commission approves an application by Société en commandite Télébec, dated 11 August 2004, to increase the monthly rates for Business Individual Line service by 8 percent across all rate groups; increase the monthly rates for various Centrex service bundles, including the rates for the Basic business bundle, Bundle A and Bundle B, by amounts ranging from 5.3 percent to 5.5 percent; and increase the monthly rates for Centrex Télémétrie service by amounts ranging from 5.7 percent to 5.8 percent. 2004-409 The Commission approves an application by TELUS Communications Inc., dated 2 November 2004, to revise TCBC General Tariff item 122, Foreign Central Office Service – Voice, and item 122 A, Foreign Central Office Service – Data, in British Columbia (collectively, the FCOS), to increase the existing FCOS monthly rate of $6.78 per quarter mile to $7.35 per quarter mile due to the increasing costs of provisioning and maintaining this service. Reference: TN 4221. Eff. date = 14.01.05.

2004-410 The Commission approves an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications, dated 14 October 2004 and amended on 1 November 2004, to revise General Tariff – Basic Services item 100.05, Exchange Area Service, in order to clarify the definition of "Permanent", and item 105.15, Extra Provisioning Charges, in order to clarify the exceptions. Reference: TNs 73 and 73A. Eff. date = 08.12.04.

2004-411 The Commission approves applications by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 27 August 2004 and 1 September 2004, to revise the former TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc.'s General Tariff item 2.27 in order to increase the monthly rates for COMM Residential Optional Service Bundles in high cost serving areas by $0.80 or $0.85, depending on the bundle, and to introduce a new COMM service bundle, which includes basic residential local service, residential optional services and forborne services.
