Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:

2002-4-2 Further to its Broadcasting Notices of Public Hearing CRTC 2002-4 and 2002-4-1 dated 26 March and 26 April 2002 relating to a Public Hearing which will be held on 3 June 2002 at 9:30 a.m., at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, the Commission withdraws item No. 4 from the public hearing and will reschedule it at a later date.

2002-206 The Commission approves the application by Hay Communications Co-operative Limited to increase the per-activation charge from $50 to $57 for residential individual line services suspended for a period of one to six months, to increase the residential individual line services monthly rate to $21.30, and make minor revisions that will have no material impact on rates or services provided. Reference: TN 20. Eff. date = 01.07.02.

2002-207 The Commission approves the application by La Compagnie de Téléphone de Lambton Inc. to increase the individual residential monthly rate from $15.13 to $16.13, to increase the extra listing monthly rate from $0.50 to $1, and eliminate the separate reference regarding Touch-Tone service, which is now included as part of the basic service rate. Reference: TN 23. Eff. date = 24.05.02.

2002-208 The Commission approves the application by Nexicom Telecommunications Inc. to increase the rates for residential and business individual line services, Touch-Tone service and Centrex service, as a result of adjustments for inflation. Reference: TN 25. Eff. date = 01.06.02.

2002-209 The Commission approves the application by Nexicom Telephones Inc. to increase the rates for residential and business individual line services, Touch-Tone service and Centrex service, as a result of adjustments of inflation. Reference: TN 24. Eff. date = 01.06.02.

2002-210 The Commission approves the application by North Frontenac Telephone Corporation Ltd. to increase the rates for residential individual line service as a result of adjustments for inflation. North Frontenac also proposed to increase the rates for 2-party and 4-party service by $4.15. Reference: TNs 21 and 21A. Eff. date = 24.05.02.

2002-211 The Commission approves the application by Northern Telephone Limited to eliminate exchange rate groups 3A and 3B and to increase the rates for residential and business primary exchange services, and Touch-Tone service, as a result of adjustments for inflation. Reference: TNs 173, 173A and 173B. Eff. date = 24.05.02.

2002-212 The Commission approves the application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications to revise General Tariff item 300.05, Smart Bundles, in order to reflect repackaging and unbundling of certain service elements. Reference: TN 28. Eff. date = 24.05.02.

2002-213 The Commission approves the application by Sogetel inc., in order to introduce pay-per-use rates for three-way calling and call return for residential and business services, and make minor revisions that will have no material impact on rates or services provided. Customers will incur a usage charge of $0.75 up to a maximum of $6 per month per line for residential customers and a maximum of $7.50 per month per line for business customers. Reference: TN 107. 2002-214 The Commission approves the application by Télébec ltée, to introduce a new Centrex option entitled "Renvoi simultané additionnel" offered at a monthly rate of $35, and a service charge of $50. In addition, as a promotional offer from 29 April to 28 June 2002, Télébec will waive the service charges associated with Centrex service for all customers who change their local access service to one of the Centrex service packages under a three or five year contract. Reference: TN 279.

2002-215 The Commission approves the application by Westport Telephone Company Limited to increase the rates for residential and business individual line services, and Touch-Tone service, as a result of adjustments for inflation. Reference: TN 21. Eff. date = 01.06.02.

2002-216 The Commission approves the application by Wightman Telecom Ltd. to increase the rates for residential and business primary exchange services, and Touch-Tone service, as a result of adjustments for inflation. Reference: TN 19. Eff. date = 24.05.02.
