Broadcasting Decisions:

2002-291 Durham Radio Inc., Ajax and Sunderland, Ontario. RENEWED - Broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CJKX-FM Ajax and its transmitter CJKX-FM-1 Sunderland until 30 November 2002.

2002-292 Rogers Cable Inc., London North, St. Thomas, etc., Ontario; Rogers Cablesystems Georgian Bay Limited, Collingwood, Midland and Owen Sound, Ontario; Rogers Cablesystems Ontario Limited, London South, Ontario; and Rogers Ottawa Limited/Limitée, Ottawa, Ontario. APPROVED – Applications by Rogers Cable Inc., Rogers Cablesystems Georgian Bay Limited. Rogers Cablesystems Ontario Limited and Rogers Ottawa Limited/Limitée to distribute CFMT too, now designated as OMNI.2, as a distant Canadian signal on the basic service of their cable systems.

2002-293 Rogers Broadcasting Limited, Toronto, Ontario. APPROVED – Application by Rogers Broadcasting Limited for the use of channel 44, with an effective radiated power of 179,000 watts, for the operation of CFMT-TV too Toronto, now designated as OMNI.2.

Telecom Decision:

2002-57 Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. - Contribution Regime. In this decision, the Commission finds Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. (Cancom) to be a telecommunications service provider and directs Cancom to comply with the filing and payment obligations set out in Changes to the contribution regime, Decision CRTC 2000-745, 30 November 2000. Reference: 8638-C12-45/00.

Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:

2002-10 The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 18 November 2002 at 9:00 a.m., at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, to consider various broadcasting applications. The intervention deadline is 24 October 2002.

Telecom Orders:

2002-376 The Commission approves on a final basis, an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 19 July 2001, to revise the following tariff items in order to transfer responsibility for the installation and maintenance of single-line inside wiring and jacks from Aliant Telecom to customers in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island. Reference: APTC TN 41. Eff date = 13.09.02.

2002-377 The Commission approves on a final basis, an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 19 April 2002, to revise Atlantic Provinces Telecommunications Council Regional Services Tariff item 506, Inside Wire, in order to introduce a flat-rate structure for single-line residential and single-line business inside wire work. Reference: TN 16. Eff date = 13.09.02.

2002-378 The Commission approves an application by La Corporation de Téléphone de La Baie (La Baie), dated 15 July 2002, to revise item 2.1.3, Rate Schedules for Primary Exchange Service and Extended Area Service, and item 2.1.4, Equivalent Service, under section 2.1 of its General Tariff, in order to include Touch-Tone service as part of its basic local residential and business line services. 2002-379 The Commission approves an application by the Ontario Telecommunications Association (OTA), dated 30 July 2002, to revise item 407, Suspension of Service, under section 4 of the Ontario Independent Services Tariff, in order to increase the charges for suspension and restoration of service. Reference: TN 83. Eff. date = 13.09.02.

2002-380 The Commission approves an application by TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. (TELUS Québec), dated 2 August 2002, to revise General Tariff item 2.20.03, SmartTouch Services, in order to introduce a promotion for local business service customers from 9 September 2002 to 31 December 2002. Reference: TN 332. Eff. date = 13.09.02.

2002-381 The Commission approves an application by O.N.Telcom, dated 29 November 2001, to revise General Tariff item 2040, Rate Schedules for Primary Exchange (Local) Service, in order to match the monthly rate for trunk line across all rate groups with the monthly rate for single-line business service set at $42.60. Reference: TN 96.

Telecom Costs Order:

2002-10 The Commission approves the application by Action Réseau Consommateur (ARC), Fédération des associations coopératives d'économie familiale, and the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (ARC et al.), for costs with respect to their participation in the proceeding initiated by CRTC seeks public input on telemarketing rules, Public Notice CRTC 2001-34, 5 March 2001. Telecom Taxation Orders:
