The licensee proposes to change
the authorized contour of its transmitter CJFW-FM-1 Kitimat by
increasing the effective radiated power from 50 to 170 watts, by
relocating the transmitter and decreasing the antenna height from -59.5
metres to -282.2 metres. |
|
The licensee states that the
current tower is being dismantled. |
|
The Commission notes that the
contour of the station will be increased significantly as a result of
the proposed increase in power. The Commission also notes that
the increase in power will result in a change of the CJFW-FM-1 status
from a low power unprotected service to a regular Class A1 transmitter. |
