Broadcasting Decisions:

2005-566 Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Vancouver and Revelstoke, British Columbia. APPROVED – New transmitter in Revelstoke to rebroadcast the programming of its national English-language network service.

2005-567 Radio programming undertakings, Various locations in Ontario. RENEWED - Broadcasting licences for the radio programming undertakings set out in the appendix to the decision, from 1 December 2005 to 31 March 2006.

2005-568 CIBM-FM Mont-Bleu ltée, Rivière-du-Loup, Trois-Pistoles, Sully and Saint-Juste-du-Lac, Quebec. RENEWED - Broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CIBM-FM Rivière-du-Loup and its transmitters CIBM-FM-1 Rivière‑du‑Loup, CIBM-FM-2 Trois‑Pistoles, CIBM-FM-3 Sully and CIBM-FM-4 Saint-Juste-du-Lac, from 1 December 2005 to 31 August 2006.

2005-569 Corus Radio Company, Cornwall, Ontario. RENEWED - Broadcasting licences for the radio programming undertakings CFLG-FM and CJSS-FM Cornwall, from 1 December 2005 to 31 March 2006.

Broadcasting Public Notices:

2005-112 Call for comments on the proposed addition of GEO TV to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis. Comments on the CCTA’s request must be received by the Commission no later than 3 January 2006. A copy of the comments must be received by the CCTA no later than the deadline for receipt of comments by the Commission. The CCTA may file a written reply to any comments received concerning its request. This reply should be filed with the Commission, and a copy sent to the person who submitted the comments, by no later than 18 January 2006.

2005-113 Call for comments on the proposed addition of ProsiebenSat.1 Welt to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis. Comments on ECGL’s request must be received by the Commission no later than 3 January 2006. A copy of the comments must be received by ECGL no later than the deadline for receipt of comments by the Commission. ECGL may file a written reply to any comments received concerning its request. This reply should be filed with the Commission, and a copy sent to the person who submitted the comments, by no later than 18 January 2006.

2005-114 The Commission has received an application from Northern Native Broadcasting, Yukon, Tsiigehtchic, Northwest Territories.  The deadline for submission of interventions/comments is 4 January 2006.

Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:

2005-10-2 Further to its Broadcasting Notices of Public Hearing CRTC 2005-10 and 2005-10-1 dated 15 and 24 November 2005 relating to a Public Hearing which will be held on 16 January 2006 at 9:00 a.m., at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, the Commission announces a correction to item 6 (Africa Motherland Broadcasting Inc.).

Telecom Orders:

2005-390  The Commission approves on an interim basis two applications by Aliant Telecom Inc. proposing to amend Tariff Notice 173. Tariff Notice 173 proposed amendments to General Tariff item 612, Competitor Digital Network (CDN) Service, by introducing DS‑1 level CDN access rates in Bands E and F across all Atlantic provinces. Reference: TNs 173A and TN 173B. Eff. date = 19.09.2005.

2005-391 The Commission approves on an interim basis the ex parte application by TELUS Communications Inc. dated 16 November 2005. Reference: TN 193.
