SmartTouch Subscription Service

1.

The Commission received an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel), dated 8 February 2005, to revise General Tariff – Basic Services item 150.15, SmartTouch Subscription Service, in order to add Call Forward Remote Activation feature and change the conditions for Block the Blocker service.

2.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

3.

The Commission received costing information in support of the application indicating that the costs are a small percentage of the average annual revenues.

4.

The Commission notes that this feature will be assigned to the Residential Optional Services sub-baskets within the high-cost serving areas (HCSAs) and Non–HCSA Basic Residential Service baskets for residential customers and to the Uncapped Services basket for business customers, pursuant to Regulatory framework for second price cap period, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-34, 30 May 2002.

5.

The Commission approves SaskTel's application. The revisions take effect as of 31 March 2005.
