Deadline to commence operations

The Commission approves the application
by Metcom Productions Inc. for an extension of the time limit to commence
the operation of the Category 2 specialty programming undertaking
authorized in Métis Michif Television Network – Category 2 specialty
service, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-345,
6 November 2002 (Decision 2002-345). |

The Commission extends, to 6 November 2006,
the deadline by which the operation of this Category 2 specialty service
must commence. This is the final extension to be granted by the
Commission with respect to the implementation of this Category 2
specialty service. |

3. |
The licence for this undertaking will be
issued once the applicant has informed the Commission in writing that
it is prepared to commence operations. The authority granted in Decision
2002-345 will become null and
void should the licensee fail to meet the new implementation deadline
set out above. |
