Revocation of licence

1. In CKNL Fort St. John – Conversion to FM band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2003-16, 21 January 2003, the Commission approved an application by Standard Radio Inc. (Standard) for a broadcasting licence to operate an FM radio programming undertaking at Fort St. John to replace its AM station CKNL. The new FM station is now in operation.
2. Standard has now requested the revocation of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CKNL Fort St. John.
3. Given the licensee’s request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Standard Radio Inc. for CKNL Fort St. John.
