Revocation of licence

In CKNL Fort St. John – Conversion to
FM band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2003-16,
21 January 2003, the Commission approved an application by Standard
Radio Inc. (Standard) for a broadcasting licence to operate an FM
radio programming undertaking at Fort St. John to replace its AM station
CKNL. The new FM station is now in operation. |

Standard has now requested the revocation
of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CKNL Fort St. John. |

Given the licensee’s request, the
Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the
Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Standard
Radio Inc. for CKNL Fort St. John. |
