The licensee proposes to delete
the transmitter CJPC-TV at Rimouski. |

Following an agreement between
TQS and Télévision MBS inc., the transmitter CJPC-TV Rimouski would
become a transmitter of CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec. |

The Commission notes that
CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup is an affiliated station to TQS television
network. |
|
The Commission also notes that
Télévision MBS inc. has filed an application (2006-1212-8) to amend the
broadcasting licence of CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup to add the transmitter
CJPC-TV Rimouski. This application is also announced in this public
notice. |

Application by Télévision
MBS inc. (Télévision MBS) to amend the licence of the television
programming undertaking CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec. |

The licensee proposes to add a
TV transmitter (CJPC-TV) at Rimouski to broadcast the programming of
CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup, in order to serve the population of Rimouski
and surrounding areas. |
|
The transmitter would operate
on channel 18 with an average effective radiated power of 458 watts
(maximum effective radiated power of 1,292 watts/antenna height of 128 metres).
|
|
TQS inc. (TQS), licensee of the
broadcasting licence for CFJP-TV Montréal, Quebec, is presently
authorized to operate the transmitter CJPC-TV Rimouski. Following an
agreement between TQS and Télévision MBS, the transmitter CJPC-TV
Rimouski would become a transmitter of CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup. |

Télévision MBS states that it
wishes to offer complementary and additional local services to the
Rimouski, Mont-Joli, Matane and the Vallée de la Matapédia regions.
Télévision MBS also confirms that these services would be integrated to
the programming of CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup and that there will be no
change to the presently authorized technical parameters of CJPC-TV
Rimouski. |

network. |

The Commission also notes that
TQS inc. has filed an application (2006-1210-3) to amend the
broadcasting licence of CFJP-TV Montréal by deleting the transmitter
