Non-Proliferation, Arms Control and Disarmament eDiscussion, September 25 - December 1, 2006: Take part as a Canadian expatriate, or find out how your International University or College can participate.

September  21 – October 15, Graz: Canadian speakers at steirischer herbst 2006: Workshop 1 of the herbst-Akademie (September 23-29) with Erin Manning (Concordia University / School of Cinema) and Brian Massumi (Université de Montréal / Département de communication), herbstCamp (September 30 – October 6) with William Walters (Carleton University / Department of Political Science).

Starting on September 15 in Austrian movie theatres: The film C.R.A.Z.Y. directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, starring Michel Côté, Marc-André Grondin and others, is shown in the original French version with German subtitles at the Vienna Votivkino for about 3 weeks, subsequently at the cinema de France,  best Canadian film at the Toronto Film Festival 2005, best Canadien film at the AFI Film Festival Los Angeles 2005, 10 Genie Awards (Canadian counterpart of the Oscar) 2006, Canada, 2005,  127 min., www.filmladen.at , click at "Verleih", C.R.A.Z.Y.

Ken Lum in Austria. From August 8 to September 8, the Vienna galery Grita Insam shows Ken Lum's "New Works". End of November 2006, his installation Pi will be opened within the framework of the initiative Art in public spaces  at the newly constructed metro exit passage Karlsplatz leading up to the Secession.
