DECISIONS:

2001-155 Corus Entertainment Inc. Application No 2001-0353-1 – APPROVED – Entension to 15 May 2001 of the Corus Trust Agreement in respect of certain voting interests in The Family Channel Inc., a national service. 

2001-156 Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Victoria, British Columbia. APPROVED - Decrease of the effective radiated power for CBCV-FM Victoria from 3,190 watts to 3,000 watts.

2001-157 Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Shelburne, Ontario. APPROVED - Addition of a transmitter at Shelburne.

2001-158 The Haliburton Broadcasting Group Inc., Bancroft, Ontario. APPROVED - New English-language FM radio station at Bancroft to replace AM station CJNH. The licence will expire 31 August 2007.

2001-159 John Elliott, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. APPROVED - New low-power English-language FM radio station at Sault Ste. Marie, expiring 31 August 2007.

2001-160 Telemedia Radio Atlantic Inc., Truro, Nova Scotia. APPROVED - New English-language FM radio station at Truro to replace AM station CKCL. The licence will expire 31 August 2007.

2001-161 Telemedia Radio Atlantic Inc., Woodstock, New Brunswick. APPROVED – New English-language FM radio station at Woodstock to replace AM station CJCJ. The licence will expire 31 August 2007.

2001-162 Telemedia Radio Inc., Timmins, Ontario. APPROVED - New English-language FM radio station at Timmins to replace AM station CKGB. The licence will expire 31 August 2007.

NOTICE:

2001-33 Call for comments on proposals by sponsors for the addition of non-Canadian satellite services to a digital list of eligible satellite services. Deadline for intervention:  2 April 2001.

NOTICES OF PUBLIC HEARING:

2001-2-3 Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2001-2 dated 26 January 2001 relating to the Public Hearing which will be held on 26 March 2001, at 9:00 a.m., at the Hilton Montréal Bonaventure, 1 Place Bonaventure, Montréal, Quebec, the Commission announces a correction to Item 1a, Quebecor Média Inc., Across Canada.

2001-3-2 Further to its Notices of Public Hearing CRTC 2001-3 and 2001-3-1 dated 21 February 2001 relating to the Public Hearing which will be held on 17 April 2001 at 9:00 a.m., at the Conference Centre, Phase IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, the Commission announces a correction to Issue no.1, Item 50.

ORDERS:

2001-185 The Commission approves Bell Canada's request to provide for an OC-12 access between the customer's premises and the company's serving wire centre. Reference:  TN 6562. Eff. date = 05.03.01.

2001-186 The Commission approves a Master Agreement for CLEC-IXC Interconnection between Vancouver Telephone Company Limited dba Startec Canada and Bell Intrigna Inc. Reference:  8340-B29-0749/00.

2001-187 The Commission approves a Master Agreement for Interconnection between LECs for Gateway Telephone Limited and GT Group Telecom Services Corp. Reference:  8340-G13-0746/00.

2001-188 The Commission denies an ex parte application filed by Bell Canada on 12 January 2001 as the 12-month limit for a promotion, without the support of an imputation test, would be exceeded. Reference:  TN 6555.

2001-189 The Commission denies an ex parte application filed by Bell Canada on 19 February 2001 as the 12-month limit for a promotion, without the support of an imputation test, would be exceeded. Reference:  TN 6568.

2001-190 The Commission approves, on a final basis, Northwestel's application dated 21 December 2000 to revise the maintenance of business equipment contract and to add a new schedule entitled maintenance of business equipment vintage 2000. Reference:  TN 746.

2001-191 The Commission approves TCBC's request to provide for the lease of 4-wire E&M signalling frequency (SF) filters at the customer's site. Reference:  TN 4126.

2001-192 The Commission, by majority decision, denies an application by the Consumers' Association of Canada and the Manitoba Society of Seniors (CAC/MSOS) to review and vary the decision to allow MTS Communications Inc. to charge $0.75 for unsuccessful requests for directory assistance. Reference:  8662-C27-02/00.
