Sent by fax: (204) 324-8918 Decision CRTC 2001-418Ottawa, 20 July 2001 Mr. Elmer Hildebrand Dear Mr. Hildebrand:
This is further to your request of 27 June 2001 for an extension of the time limit to implement the FM radio programming undertaking at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan approved in Decision CRTC 99-473 dated 19 October 1999. Please be advised that the Commission approves your request and hereby grants a nine-month extension of the time limit, namely until 19 April 2002. This extension does not of course, relieve you of your responsibility to implement the authority to operate the radio programming undertaking at Moose Jaw at the earliest possible date. Should the completion of the new installations not be completed within the period stipulated in this letter or, should the Commission refuse to approve an extension requested by the licensee, the licence will not be issued. As stipulated in Decision 99-473, the authority will only be effective and the licence will only be issued at such time as the construction of the undertaking is completed and it is prepared to commence operation. Consequently, the applicant is required to advise the Commission, in writing, once it has completed construction and is prepared to commence operation of the undertaking, at which time, the Commission will issue the licence. This decision letter is available for public examination at the Commission’s central office. The Commission also requires you to append this decision letter to Decision 99-473 granting you a licence. Sincerely, Ursula Menke Date Modified: 2001-07-23 |
