Subject: Proposed revisions to the 2000 Phase III/Split Rate
Base (SRB) Manuals for TCBC and the former TCI
The Commission has reviewed the proposed SRB Manual Update reports
for TELUS Communications Inc. (the former TCI) and TELUS Communications
(B.C.) Inc. (TCBC, formerly BC TEL) filed on 5 April 2001.
The Commission considers that all of the proposed changes in the
companies’ Update reports are consistent with recent tariff filings,
other CRTC directives and generally reflect the requisite cost causality
principles that are embodied in the SRB procedures.
Accordingly, the Commission approves the updates as submitted and
directs the companies to file with the Commission and serve on
interested parties amended SRB Manual pages that reflect these revisions
within 30 days of the date of this letter.
