DECISIONS:

2001-600 Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Application no. 2001-0398-7 - APPROVED - Change in technical parameters and increase in Power.

2001-601 Bluewater TV Cable Ltd. Application no. 2001-0810-2 - APPROVED - Requests authority to transfer 3,360 common shares (30.55%) of the issued and outstanding shares of Bluewater TV, licensee of cable distribution undertaking serving Clinton and Goderich, Ontario.

2001-602 Women’s Television Network (WTN) National. Application no. 2001-1064-3 - Approved - Request for an extension of the trust arrangement between MOF Trusco Ltd and Mr. Fred Wagman regarding the shares of Lifestyle Television (1994) Limited, until 31 December 2001.

2001-603 Craig Broadcast Alberta Inc., Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta. APPROVED - Licence amendments for CKEM-TV Edmonton and CKAL-TV Calgary relating to the expenditures on Canadian programming and the exhibition of programming in under-represented categories.

2001-604 CTV Inc., Montréal, Quebec. APPROVED - Acquisition of effective control of CFCF-TV Montréal.

2001-726 The Commission approves, on a final basis, SaskTel's application dated 27 July 2001 to offer business customers 310-XXXX access which provides a unique seven-digit number, and when the number is dialed, the intelligence built into the network can provide call routing instructions. Reference: TN 18.

2001-727 The Commission approves Appendices 10A, CCS7 transit service, of the Interconnection Agreement between Bell Canada and the members of the Canadian Alliance of Publicly-Owned Telecommunications Systems (CAPTS) listed in the order. Reference: 8340-B2-0001/05, 8340-B2-0023/05, 8340-B2-0078/19, 8340-B2-0383/04.

2001-728 The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's request filed on behalf of NewTel Communications Inc., to offer a custom-built equipment and arrangement service to a customer. Reference: NewTel TN 659. Eff. date = 21.09.01.

2001-729 The Commission approves Bell Canada's request to increase the monthly rate for remote call forwarding service by $5. Reference: TN 6589. Eff. date = 21.09.01.

2001-730 The Commission approves Bell Canada's request to provide for the lease and installation of a cabinet, Cisco Router, fuse panel, interface panel and associated cabling for customer-provided equipment. Reference: TN 6606. Eff. date = 21.09.01.

2001-731 The Commission approves Bell Canada's request for a custom-designed arrangement providing for selective call rejection on a Centrex directory number. Reference: 6608. Eff. date = 21.09.01.

2001-732 The Commission approves, on a final basis, Northern's application dated 18 July 2001 to increase local channel rates, with the exception of channels between buildings on continuous properties. Reference: TN 156.

2001-733 The Commission approves, on an interim basis, Group Telecom's request to introduce tariff rates for New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia into its Compensation traffic imbalance item. Reference: TN 15. Eff. date = 21.09.01.

2001-734 The Commission approves Kenora's request to clarify that the company provides customers, without charge, at least one copy of the most recent telephone directory for their district, both white and yellow pages, and as many copies of subsequent updated directories as they are published per telephone line. 2001-735 The Commission denies the application by Québec-Téléphone to modify its multi-element service charges. Reference: Québec-Téléphone TN 291.

2001-736 CRTC denies a TELUS Communications Inc. application to introduce contracted wholesale call management services. Reference: TN 1.

2001-737 The Commission approves the National Contribution Fund Administration Agreement as agreed to by the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee members and Contribution Collection Mechanism Co-ordination Committee members. Reference: 8638-C12-45/00.

2001-738 CRTC gives final approval to procedures for the revenue-based contribution regime. Reference: 8638-C12-45/00.
