The Commission approves, on a final basis, Northwestel's
application to: |
|
· decrease the calling rate from $0.50 per minute to $0.32 per
minute for calls within Canada and the United States;
|
|
· give reductions for calls to international locations from
Canada; and
|
|
· introduce a new prepaid calling card which uses a connection
fee in addition to a flat rate per minute.
|
|
Northwestel filed the application on 18 July 2001 to revise item
313 and to add items 314 and 315 to its Message Toll Service Tariff.
|
|
The Commission received no comments with respect to the
application. |
|
The application was approved on an interim basis in Order CRTC 2001-613, dated 31 July 2001. |
