Transfer of shares and control, estate planning purposes – Fawcett
Broadcasting Limited, licensee of radio programming undertaking CFOB, Fort
Frances, CJRL, Kenora and CKDR, Dryden, Ontario requests authority
to transfer the voting shares held by Eloise P. Fawcett
to Howard G. Fawcett.
Dear Sir:
The Commission approves the above-noted application requesting
authority to effect a change in the ownership of Fawcett Broadcasting
Limited through the transfer of 140,010 Class B voting shares from Eloise
P. Fawcett to Howard G. Fawcett. Consequently, Mr. Fawcett ownership
postion in the company increases to 98.77%.
The Commission will modify its ownership records to reflect the
authorized ownership of Fawcett Broadcasting Limited as shown in the
attached appendix. All letters of approval issued by the Commission are
made available for public examination at the Commission’s central
office. Consequently, the Commission also requires you to append this
letter to your licence.
