NOTICES:

2001-55 Ravinder Singh Pannu (OBCI), Across Canada. To amend the licence of the Category 2 national specialty television service known as SSTV. All TV Inc., Across Canada. To amend the licence of the ethnic Category 2 national specialty television service. Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd., Across Canada. To amend the licence of the Category 2 national specialty television service known as Raptors Basketball Channel. Deadline for Intervention:  29 June 2001.

2001-56 This public notice initiates a proceeding to determine whether it is appropriate for telephone companies to provide reverse search directory assistance services, and if so, the tariff conditions for telephone companies under Commission jurisdiction. Reference:  Bell Canada TN 6508.

2001-57 Principles for the launch of Category 1 and 2 digital services. The notice sets out the joint principles developed by the industry for the purpose of guiding programmers and distributors in their negotiation of agreements for the carriage of the new digital services.

2001-58 Digital migration issues – Reconvening of working group regarding large cable systems, and; Call for comments regarding small cable systems.

ORDERS:

2001-411 The Commission approves Prince Rupert City Telephones' request to waive the service connection charge for all new cellular customers subscribing to the company's cellular service between 1 June and 31 December 2001. Reference:  TN 51.

2001-412 The Commission approves Prince Rupert City Telephones' request to introduce local intra-exchange flat rated service. References:  TN 52. Eff. date = 01.06.01.

2001-413 The Commission approves Le Téléphone de St-Liboire de Bagot Inc's. request to increase by $1 the Number Display monthly rate for both the residential and business service offerings. Reference:  TN 22. Eff. date = 01.07.01.

2001-414 The Commission approves Télébec ltée's request to change the service name "Forfait D" with "Forfait affaires de base". Reference:  TN 261. Eff. date = 04.06.01.

2001-415 The Commission approves Bruce Municipal Telephone System's request to introduce a minimum monthly revenue requirement for occupant-requested Millennium pay telephones. Reference:  TN 92. Eff. date = 25.05.01.

2001-416 With some conditions, the Commission refrains from regulating single-line inside wire services provided by TELUS Québec Inc. Customers will be able to determine if transmission problems originate on their inside wiring, or on TELUS Québec's network. Reference:  8640-Q1-03/01.
