2001-703
Corus Radio Company, Cornwall, Ontario. APPROVED - Acquisition of the
control and ownership of 519957 Ontario Ltd. by transferring all of the
issued and outstanding shares held by the Emard family to Corus Radio
Company.
2001-704
Rush Communications Limited, Mabou, Nova Scotia. APPROVED - Relief of the
requirement that it distribute local signals CBIT-19 (CBC) and CJCB-TV-1
(CTV) Inverness, Nova Scotia. Instead, the licensee will distribute CBHT
(CBC) and CJCH-TV (CTV) Halifax, received via satellite.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
2001-11-3 Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC
2001-11 dated
28 September 2001 relating to the public relating which will be held
on 3 December 2001, in Hamilton, Ontario, the Commission announces
that at the request of the applicant, Item 4 – CTV Television Inc.,
Toronto and surrounding areas, Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario is withdrawn
from this public hearing.
ORDER:
2001-835 The
Commission approves Northern's request to introduce a rebill and resale
tariff pursuant to Decision CRTC 2001-583, to allow competitive toll
service providers to resell or rebill Northern's local exchange services
at tariffed rates. Reference: TN 161.
