Broadcasting Decision:
2006-6 Telus
Communications Inc., Rimouski, Baie-Comeau, Sept-Îles, Gaspé, Sainte-Marie,
Saint-Georges and Montmagny and their surrounding areas, Quebec. APPROVED –
Change in the service area of the cable broadcasting distribution undertakings
serving the above-noted communities and distribution of signals on a
discretionary digital basis, as noted in the decision.
Telecom Decision:
2006-2 The
Commission approves Northwestel Inc.'s proposal to remit to the central fund, as
a one-time payment, the revenues accrued in its deferral account. Reference:
8695-C12-200413625.
Broadcasting Public Notices:
2006-1 Call for
comments on the proposed addition of ITVN to the lists of eligible satellite
services for distribution on a digital basis. Comments on the CCTA’s request must
be received by the Commission no later than 13 February 2006. A copy of the
comments must be received by the CCTA no later than the deadline for receipt of
comments by the Commission. The CCTA may file a written reply to any comments
received concerning its request. This reply should be filed with the Commission,
and a copy sent to the person who submitted the comments, by no later than
28 February 2006.
2006-2 The
Commission has received various broadcasting applications. The deadline for
submission of interventions/comments is 16 February 2006.
2006-3 Call for
applications for broadcasting licences to carry on a television programming
undertakings to serve Edmonton and/or Calgary, Alberta.

2006-10 The
Commission approves on an interim basis the following tariff application: Rogers
Home Phone Inc. (formerly Call-Net Communications Inc.) TN 25. (streamlined

2006-11 The
Commission approves on a final basis the following tariff applications: Dryden
Municipal Telephone System TNs 30, 30A and 31, Société en commandite Télébec
