Ethernet Access Services and Agreement

The Commission received an application
by Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel) dated 15 July 2004, filed
under Tariff Notice 69 (TN 69), which proposed the introduction
of its Ethernet Access Services and Agreement, pursuant to the Commission's
directives in Ethernet services, Telecom Decision CRTC 2004-5,
27 January 2004, as amended by Telecom Decision CRTC 2004-5-1,
6 February 2004. SaskTel's proposed Ethernet Access Services and Agreement
application consisted of three components: Ethernet Access Service,
General Tariff, item 110.54, Ethernet CO [Central Office] Connecting
Link Service, Competitor Access Tariff, item 610.29, and Ethernet
Interface Service, Competitor Access Tariff, item 610.30. The
Commission granted interim approval to the Ethernet Access Service
component and the Ethernet CO Connecting Link Service component of
TN 69 in Saskatchewan Telecommunications - Aggregated Asymmetric
Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) Service, and Ethernet Access Services
and Agreement, Telecom Order CRTC 2006-64,
27 March 2006. |

The Commission received an amendment by SaskTel
dated 15 March 2006, under Tariff Notice 69A (TN 69A), which
proposed revisions to the Ethernet Access Service and Ethernet CO
Connecting Link components and also proposed replacing the Ethernet
Interface Service component with the Ethernet Transport Service component.
The Commission granted interim approval to revisions associated with
the Ethernet Access Service and the Ethernet CO Connecting Link components
in Saskatchewan Telecommunications - Ethernet Access Services
and Agreement, Telecom Order CRTC 2006-104,

The Commission received an amendment by
SaskTel dated 5 June 2006, under Tariff Notice 69B (TN 69B), which
proposed revisions to the rates for the Ethernet Transport
Service component. |

On 21 August 2006, SaskTel identified that
it had received a customer request for the Ethernet Transport Service
component and requested that the Commission grant interim approval to
the Ethernet Transport Service component. |

No comments were received with respect to
TN 69A and TN 69B. |

Commission's analysis and determination
|
6. |
In light of the customer request for the
Ethernet Transport Service component, the Commission approves on an
interim basis SaskTel's Ethernet Transport Service component of the
Ethernet Access Services and Agreement as proposed in TN 69A and TN 69B. |
