Broadcasting Decisions:

2006-175 CanWest MediaWorks Inc. and Rogers Communications Inc., partners in a general partnership carrying on business as Prime TV. Across Canada. APPROVED – Addition of category 4 (Religion) to the list of programming categories from which Prime TV may draw its programming.

2006-176 John S. Panikkar, on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated. Across Canada. APPROVED - New national, English-language Category 2 high definition (HD) specialty programming undertaking to be known as MeridianHD. The licence will expire 31 August 2012.

2006-177 Corus Premium Television Ltd., New Westminster, British Columbia. RENEWED – Broadcasting licences for the English-language radio networks known as Sportstalk, The Stirling Faux Show, Home Discovery (formerly known as The Home Ideas Show), Money Talks and Housecalls, from 1 September 2006 to 31 August 2007.
