programming undertaking CFCY-FM Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. |

The licensee proposes to change
the authorized contours by increasing the average effective radiated
power from 73,300 watts to an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts,
by increasing the antenna height and by relocating the transmitter (non-directional
antenna/antenna height to 253 metres). |
|
This undertaking was initially
approved in Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2006-89,
24 March 2006, CFCY Charlottetown – Conversion to FM band.
To date, this undertaking has not commenced operation. |
|
The applicant advised that the
proposed changes would be the result of the antenna being co-located on
the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s site which is 17 kilometres west
of their initially proposed location. This change will remove the
applicant’s need to erect its own transmission tower. |

The transmitter would operate
on frequency 100.7 MHz (channel 264LP) with an effective radiated power
of 49.3 watts (non-directional antenna/antenna height of 32 metres). |

radio programming undertaking at Chillliwack, British Columbia. |

The licensee proposes to
temporarily amend for one year, its conditions of licence 1 and 2 which
read: |

Condition 1:
1. The licensee must use the station solely to provide a Tourists/Travellers
Advisory Service which integrates current weather forecasts, weather
bulletins, highway surface conditions and other travel-safety
information, as well as tourist information for the Chilliwack area.
This would include announcements that describe recreational, heritage,
cultural and commercial opportunities of interest and current visitor
attraction information updated as frequently as required to ensure
tourists/travellers have access to the most current travel announcements.

"and live play-by-play hockey
broadcasts during the 2006-2007 season". |

Condition 2: |
|
2. During each clock hour, the
licensee may broadcast not more than six minutes of commercial messages.

of commercial messages during each clock hour". |
|
Approval of these conditions of
licence amendments will permit the licensee to broadcast for one-year
the 72 Chilliwack Bruins Junior A hockey games scheduled for the
2006-2007 season. These broadcasts would last 3 hours on the evenings of
the hockey games. |
