Revocation of licence

In CJAV Port Alberni – Conversion to FM
band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2005-160,
18 April 2005, the Commission approved an application by Island Radio
Ltd. for a broadcasting licence to operate an FM radio programming
undertaking at Port Alberni to replace its AM station CJAV. The new
FM station is now in operation. |

Island Radio Ltd. has now requested the
revocation of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CJAV
Port Alberni. |

Given the licensee’s request, the
Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the
Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Island Radio
Ltd. for CJAV Port Alberni. |
