CRTC seeks comments on national do not call list and
telemarketing rules
Telecom Public Notice:
2006-4 The Commission
initiates a public proceeding, including a public consultation, in relation to
the creation and operation of a national do not call list (national DNCL) as well
as the establishment and enforcement of national DNCL rules and any other rules
related to telemarketing. Reference: 8665-C12-200601626, 8662-C131-200408543,

Broadcasting Public Notices:
2006-20 Call for
comments – Proposed amendments to the Pay Television Regulations, 1990,
the Specialty Services Regulations, 1990, the Broadcasting Distribution
Regulations and the Television Broadcasting Regulations, 1987. The
Commission invites interested parties to comment on the proposed amendments
attached to this notice no later than 29 March 2006.
2006-21 The Commission
has received various broadcasting applications. Deadline for submission of
interventions/comments: 27 March 2006.
Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:
2006-2-4 Further to
its Broadcasting Notices of Public Hearing CRTC 2006-2 and 2006-2-1 dated 19 and
27 January 2006 and 2006-2-2 and 2006-2-3 dated 10 and 14 February 2006 relating
to a Public Hearing which will be held on 20 March 2006 at 9:30 a.m., at the
Convention Centre, 1000 René-Lévesque Boulevard East, Québec, Quebec, the
Commission announces that item #15 (Jim Pattison Broadcast Group Ltd.) is
withdrawn from the public hearing and item #16 (Jim Pattison Broadcast Group
Ltd.) is amended.
