It appears that TELUS found another way, to escalate the cost of the local telephone service. 

 

For underserved areas the possibility of using a cellular phone service shall be considered first, before any other facilities are planned. It is a definely more economical solution sice so much investment was engaged in the establishment of this network. Attempt by TELUS, to justify the price increases, should be seriously examined against other alternatives with the price cap in place.
