Subject: Telus Hearing

Importance: High

To Whom it May Concern,

I received in the mail a notice that Telus is seeking approval to increase

it's rates to subsidize the expansion into new areas. I would like to

express my opposition to this plan. In my opinion, it is not right for

already paying customers to subsidize Telus' expansion. There is no benefit

to the vast majority of the client base, at least that I can see, and the

only purpose for the increase rates is to make the project profitable.

Frankly, I am not interested in being charged more for the sole purpose of

the profitability of a project with no benefit to me. If Telus wishes to

undertake the plan they should find a way to make it viable other than this.

As a home and business client this could potentially cost me a significant

amount and I hope to see a stop put to it.

Thank you for your time and attention. I would very much appreciate being

advised of the outcome of this issue. Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Ben Block
