This e-mail is to indicate my disagreement with the proposed rate increase

for residential Telus customers. I am already paying $24.65 per month just

to have telephone service through Telus. My long distance service is

handled by another company, which means I am paying close to $50.00 per

month just for telephone service. ( I am a former employee of the

telephone company and can verify that the employees are extremely well paid

- which may be part of the cost of service factor) Please keep the cost of

this essential service under control.
