I have received your short notice regarding an impending increase in the

local

telephone service. I have stuck with Telus all these years, being aware all

along

that their long distance rates are double or higher than the competition.

Same

applies to many of my acquaintances.

If Telus obtains your approval for a raise, I shall ditch their long

distance service and use one of the many available competitors.
