For people on welfare or fixed incomes, they can't afford to keep paying these rate increases.  Why does the CRTC keep approving them?  I don't understand it.  I just have a basic phone line, with no additions, and it costs me $31.20 a month.  Not so long ago, I was paying $12.50 a month.  The cost of living has only increased by about 1% a year.
