Subject: CRTC revewing Rules for Local Telephone Service Prices

Dear Mr/Madam Secretary

and

R.F. Farmer

I just read in The Middlesex Banner a notice of price review which bell is taking before the CRTC.

I would like to bring to your attention something that has been bothering me since I moved to Ilderton from London.  I can call any London exchange from Ilderton without long distance charges save and except the 652 exchange.

When I questioned Bell about this I was told I had to pay long distance because 652 is the Lambeth exchange.  News Flash!  Lambeth was assumed by the City of London in 1992 under an annexation of the City of London.  Therefore, Lambeth only exists in name, no longer as a village or self governing body.  The so called Lambeth exchange is located within the boundry limits of the City of London.

I can call Ailsa Craig, Centrailia, Crediton, Exeter, Granton, Kirkton, Grand Bend, Lucan, Nairn, Parkhill, Sebringville, Strathroy, Uniondale, and only PORTIONS OF LONDON.  Please explain why I can call all London exchanges except for 652 (the former village of Lambeth), which is now the City of London and I have to incurr long distance charges.

I respectfully request before Bell is granted an increase, this issue be addressed and resloved so anyone calling from 666 exchange can call all London exchanges toll free.

Thank you for your time.
