How many more increases in telphone rates can be loaded upon customers of Telus.  When Alberta Government Telephones was stolen from the people in Alberta, and in particular, my grandfather who built and paid for telephone lines in rural areas, we were assured that telephone rates would, indeed decrease.  Rates for customer lines have steadily increased, year after year.  It is time to call a halt to such increases.

People not having services should, either pay the cost themselves, or telephone companies should be required to supply lines and facilities just like they do for cities and towns.

Enough is enough!

The proposed rate increase will continue forever, long after the costs have been covered.

SUCH PROPOSALS ARE JUST A METHOD FOR THE PHONE COMPANIES TO RAKE IN MORE BILLIONS FROM ALREADY OVERPRICED PHONE SERVICES.

I strongly object to both proposal put forth by Telus.

Signed,
