I would like to express my opposition to the application by MTT to increase the local phone rates in rural areas of Nova Scotia. MTT telephone users are already penalized by having inferior service such as poor internet connections. They should not be expected to pay more.

The local telephone service in Nova Scotia is the only remaining monopoly that MTT has, and they should not be able to take unfair advantage.
