Read these instructions very carefully. Failure to submit payment exactly as indicated
will delay the processing of your application.

BY CASH

We only accept CASH when an application is submitted IN PERSON.
Payments must be the EXACT AMOUNT - We DO NOT accept COINS or $100 dollar bills.
We accept payment in CASH for all services EXCEPT permanent residence fees.
Fees for services are acceptable only in CANADIAN or US currency.
We DO NOT accept payment in CASH when application is submitted by mail.

BY CERTIFIED CHECK (CC) or MONEY ORDER (MO)

We accept payments by CC or MO for applications submitted in person and/or by mail.
Fees for services are acceptable only in CANADIAN or US currency.
(Note: Absolutely NO personal or company issued checks will be accepted.)

Payment of fees in CANADIAN currency must be: A CERTIFIED CHECK or MONEY ORDER obtained from a Canadian Bank or Canadian Post Office made payable to the RECEIVER GENERAL OF CANADA. Canadian postal orders in US funds are NOT accepted.

Payment of fees in UNITED STATES currency must be: A CERTIFIED CHECK or MONEY ORDER obtained from a United States Bank or United States Post Office made payable to the CONSULATE GENERAL OF CANADA, NEW YORK.
