Welcome Message Continued

Canada currently ranks as California's third-largest trading partner and offers enormous potential for Canadian hi-tech businesses. Our team of Business Development Officers provides expertise and assistance in a number of specialized technology-based sectors, including hi-tech (software, hardware, new media, e-business, e-learning, nanotechnology, telecommunications), and life sciences (biotechnology). From a public affairs point of view, we seek to promote understanding on issues like Canada's commitment to the fight against terrorism and the importance of enhancing the close cooperation between Canada and the United States as part of the NAFTA.

Please note

The Canadian Consulate in San Diego does not provide consular services, nor does it process passports or handle visa and immigration enquiries.

For consular services and passport information, please contact the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles, California, for assistance.

For information concerning visas and immigration services, please consult our Visa and Immigration page.
