Office of Employment Equity for Persons with Disabilities


The Office of Employment Equity for Persons with Disabilities has as its mandate to increase the representation of persons with disabilities employed in the public service. The Office’s programs and services include the Opening Doors Program, Targeted Wage Subsidy Initiative, Student Summer Employment Program and an Enabling Resource Centre. As well, the Office provides information, advice and training on issues related to the employment of persons with disabilities to Directors of Human Resources, managers, supervisors and executives.
