What Level?

Describe what level of learning you want.

Do you want to:

  • Know more about the competency?
    • Learning skills you’ll use: reading, summarizing, remembering
  • Know how to put the competency into action?
    • Learning skills you’ll use: doing, experimenting, observing outcomes, refining action, analyzing, evaluating
  • Be able to use it automatically.
    • Learning skill you’ll use: Practice until use becomes unconscious
  • Be skilled enough with the competency to be able to integrate it with other competencies and knowledge to use it in a new way
    • Learning skills you’ll use: Synthesizing, transforming, creating new knowledge

Example:

I want to be able to use the ability to accurately assess my skills and achievements to explain to employers how I can use those skills working for them. I will experiment with listing my skills and accomplishments to my friend and ask them to tell me how it sounds.
