Context - PSMA Overview

• Goal - to modernize employment and labour relations
• Amends the Financial Administration Act (FAA)
• Amends and re-names the Staff Relations Act - Public Service Labour Relations Act (PSLRA)
• Canadian Centre for Management Develpment Act becomes the Canada School of Public Service Act (CSPSA)
• Creates new Public Service Employment Act (PSEA)
• Result - 4 Acts which provide flexibility and modernize HR management
