Education

Useful Information

Successful completion of a postsecondary diploma in resources management, northern studies or another related field.

Experience

Experience in conducting research, writing and developing research reports and policy papers and in presenting findings associated with natural resources management.

Experience in resolving issues involved in the management of public lands in Canada.

Experience in communicating with Aboriginal people and regulatory boards set up in association with land claim agreements.

Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment

  • CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
    - You must possess a valid driver's license.
    - You must be able to travel in the North of Canada occasionally.
    - Reliability Status. This factor is not used at the preselection stage. The Department is responsible for the security clearance process.
