Education

Secondary school diploma and completion of an acceptable training program in electronics technology or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience

Experience as an avionics maintenance manager in a military heavy transport aircraft avionics installation support role.

Experience as an avionics installation senior life cycle materiel manager (LCMM) in a military heavy transport aircraft.

Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment

  • CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

    Secret Security Clearance. This factor is not used at the preselection stage. The Department is responsible for the security clearance process.

    Willingness to work in all environmental conditions.
    Willingness to travel.
    Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, on short notice.

The following merit criteria may be required for this position. Applicants should indicate in their application if they meet the merit criteria.

Recent experience, within five (5) years, with CC130 avionics installations.
Recent experience, within five (5) years, as a DND Avionics LCMM.
