Successful completion of two years of secondary school education according to provincial/territorial standards or employer approved alternative of education, experience and/or training.

Occupational Certification

  • Applicants must demonstrate in their application that they meet the following merit criteria to be retained for further consideration.
    • Possession of a valid Alberta Class 1 driver’s License with air brake endorsement or provincial/territorial equivalent. Copy of license will be required for candidates screened into the process.

Experience

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience is required in EACH of the following areas:
. Experience in the operation of complex multi control vehicles (e.g. Rough terrain forklift).
. Experience in the operation and maintenance of Heavy Vehicles.

Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• Willingness to undergo and successfully pass an enhanced reliability security clearance.
• Willingness and ability to obtain and retain FMT600 (British Military Driver’s License).

Candidates must meet and maintain the above condition of employment throughout their employment.

Challenge

Your challenge will be the operation and maintenance of specialist and complex multi control articulated vehicles including a Volvo rough terrain forklift and a Mercury Tugmaster.
