Education

Useful Information

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in health care administration or health care management, with relevant clinical experience.

Experience

Experience in one or more of the following diagnostic and therapeutic services: ambulatory care services, preventative health care or patient education.

Experience working at a management level in health care services.

Experience planning, developing and / or implementing a health care program.

Experience managing budgets.

Experience working in multi-disciplinary environment.

Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment

Candidates must meet the Essential Qualifications to be appointed to the position. Candidates may be expected to meet, in whole or in part, the criteria related to the Assets, Operational Requirements and Organizational Needs, depending on the position being staffed.

  • ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
    Master's degree in health care administration or health care management with relevant clinical experience.
    Knowledge of the Canadian Forces Health Services Group.
  • OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    - The requirement to work overtime may be required at short notice.
    - Willingness to work flexible hours.
    - The requirement to travel outside of the immediate area on short notice may be required.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL NEED:
