Graduation from a recognized university or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience

Experience in planning, developing and implementing strategies or action plans focused on outcomes and results.

Experience in preparing reports, presentations and briefing notes.

Experience in dealing with a broad range of stakeholders and partners (such as other levels of government, academia, NGOs, private and public sector service providers) and in developing horizontal initiatives that cut cross across organizational boundaries.

Experience in evaluating social and economic trends and existing social policy research to assess impact on policies and programs.

Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in project development and delivery.

Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Some positions may require travel to regional offices (projected average – (three) 3 days per month).
Some positions may require overtime.
No opportunity for compressed work week

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
Reliability Status. This factor is not used at the preselection stage. The Department is responsible for the security clearance process.
