CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• Willingness to work in a chemical plant.
• Willingness to travel.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and shift work.

  • The following merit criteria may be required for this position. Applicants should indicate in their application if they meet the merit criteria.
    • Experience in operating research-scale pilot plants.
    • Experience in heavy oil/bitumen treatment and processing.

While no directly related experience is necessary, preference will be given to candidates with the above-noted experience.

Challenge

Reporting to an activity leader, pilot plant, laboratory and/or field supervisor, carries out pilot and laboratory scale experimental research for various investigations; assists in the production of technical reports; and performs other related duties.
